Introduction

Inspired by the likes of Sir David Attenborough, I have developed an intense passion for our wildlife and the conservation thereof. At the age of 18 I purchased my first 35 mm Ricoh film camera to capture images of basically any living creature. Photography became my passion but unfortunately was placed on hold as life happened.

Now, I am making a concerted effort to pick up where I left off almost two decades ago… If I can show people how diverse and precious our Earth is, maybe it will be easier to look after it.

My work:

A snapshot depicting a mere instant in the vastness of the open veld, these images represent how dynamic and intriguing the African bushveld can be. Each image captures the essence of Africa and the energy invites and excites the viewer to experience this for themselves.

Speaking to the heart of the conservationist and epitomising wildlife tourism, they are ideal for use in brochures and magazines, but also versatile enough to be used in advertising campaigns for Corporates.

Patience and careful pre-visualisation allows the capture of intense moments in time and unusual angles allow remarkable interpretations of otherwise ordinary scenes. The astute use of light illuminates the subjects and allows their story to evolve in the mind of the spectator.
